Patty Cardoso

Chief Safety Officer

Hello. My name is Patty Cardoso and I am the Chief Safety Officer for Universal Ag Compliance. As a daughter of farm working parents, and now a wife and mother of three children, I know first-hand the importance of every employee returning home safe to their families every day. With over 20 years in agriculture, I have built trusted relationships with many growers and it has become my passion to ensure they have the tools and education in the area of farming regulatory compliance. My job, and my goal, is to alleviate the stress from growers and their employees so they can continue to do what they love….farming.

My name is Jennifer Vicuna, I am 23 years old and a central valley native. As a daughter of a fieldworker I always understood the importance of my father coming home safe every day. I graduated with a degree in Agriculture Business and I have been a Worker Safety Trainer for the past two years. Helping growers and their employees operate in compliance with OSHA and DPR regulations has really become my purpose. Personally experiencing first-hand the appreciation an employee feels when they achieve a compliance certification for themselves and their employer brings the most satisfaction to my work. Mitch Abe

Food Safety Consultant

Hi, my name is Mitchell (Mitch) Abe. I was born and raised in Reedley, California known as the “Breadbasket of the World”. My parents raised grapes and tree fruit and we worked our farm as a family growing up. I like to think that my experiences over the years have taught me humility, patience and a common sense approach when dealing with today’s ever evolving food safety rules and regulations. While Universal Ag Compliance as a business is relatively new in the Food Safety and Worker Compliance world, our personnel has years of experience in all aspects of agricultural related food safety certification, worker training and OSHA compliance.

Hello. My name is Maria Flores. I was raised here in the central valley by parents and family who worked in agriculture, so I understand the importance of every worker returning back to their homes and families safely each day. It is this real life experience that has brought me to my position as Safety Trainer here with Universal Ag Compliance. Knowing that I can help the worker achieve compliance certification for themselves and their employer brings me great satisfaction. I also know the importance today of growers having the tools to continue and maintain a safe work environment for their employees. My goal is to help both work together.
